The Intel deluxe PC camera is a digital video camera for your desktop or
notebook PC that lets you capture video and still images to use on Web
pages, in e-mail, and for creating short multimedia movies. Using a USB
connection with a 6.5-foot cable, the camera uses progressive-scan CCD
image sensor technology to take pictures and video at 640 x 480
resolution. It features a tilt-swivel base, privacy shutter,
manual-focus dial, and large snapshot button for taking stills or
starting video capture. With a wide array of bundled software you can
add video or snapshots to your real-time video phone calls; include
video, audio, and snapshots in e-mail; use motion-triggered or
time-interval pictures in your Web pages; create a catalog of images;
and build Web pages that feature streaming video, snapshots, and text. Compatible with TWAIN-compliant software such as image-editing
applications, the camera and bundled software support TWAIN-compliant
scanners, digital cameras, and other devices. The camera comes with a one-year limited warranty.
